I hope everyone is well and staying safe.
I started blogging about four years ago, and since going to university three years ago my posts have become sporadic.
Hopefully, that will be changing.
About a month ago, I handed in the final assignment of my undergraduate degree. I have now had all of my individual assignment marks and am only waiting on my official degree result. This means that university is basically done for me. I won’t talk about how this feels here, but what I am hoping is that I will have some more time to dedicate to my blog again and can get back into producing some content. Unfortunately, I cannot make any solid promises as I have no idea what is going to happen now that I am finished with uni, but I want to get a blogging schedule of some kind.
If you do want to see more regular content from me, I also have a ‘Booksagram’ account (@georgiaellenreads). This is an Instagram account that is largely dedicated to books and what I am reading.
So, what can you expect from the content that I plan to be posting here on my blog?
Book Reviews
I originally began blogging to post book reviews and I would really like to return to this as I have more time for reading now that my reading is not dictated by my degree.
Bookish content and discussion
As well as book reviews, it is highly probable that there will be other content about books, including discussions around topics such as ereaders. I imagine this blog primarily appeals to people who want to read some bookish content, so hopefully this will all be in keeping with that. I also know I get quite a few views from the link in my Instagram bio, so as that is an account about books, talking about books here makes sense too (plus, I love books – you might have noticed).
Films / TV Shows
Although I don’t know a lot about films, it is likely that I will be talking about some films and TV shows that I have enjoyed watching, especially if they are based on books.
Musicals
As well as books, I love musicals. I already have a post about seeing Les Miserables: The Staged Concert at the cinema on my blog, and I would like to talk more about musicals. This may involve posts about musicals I see live, discussions about which musicals I love and maybe posts about film adaptations.
Lifestyle and Organisation
A couple of summers ago, I did a series of blogs about my Bullet Jounral (you can find the first of those here) and it proved to be quite a popular series. I would like to do another post soon about the journal that I am now using, and maybe expand to talk more about some organisational tips. This may expand to be more ‘lifestyle’ type content, but we will see what happens.
Much more!
To be honest, I will write about whatever I feel is right and interests me. This could include: makeup, skincare, education, day trips, music, crafts. Hopefully, some of that will appeal to you too, and I would be very grateful if you read any of my content or even subscribed to my blog.
Thank you, G x
I love your blog Georgia, I can’t wait for all the new content π congratulations on finishing University, I remember when we were chatting during your gap year – how time flies! Hope you’re well, India π xx

I am a bookworm, who is also a musical theatre fanatic.
I graduated from Gardner Webb University in 2018. I majored in Sociology while minoring in theatre and Spanish Cultural Studies. I changed a lot from the time I graduated high school to the time I graduated from Gardner Webb. Both Fletcher and GWU means a lot to me, but Gardner Webb will always mean more.
