Mini – Review: All I Know Now | Carrie Hope Fletcher

‘All I Know Now is not all that much, but I hope it’s enough to help.’

Day 49In all honesty, I think that the main reason I love this book is because I really like Carrie and the book is just so full of her personality and full of her stories that it almost feels like having a conversation with her and I love that. Compared to other self-help books that I have read recently, I think that this book has a much lighter feel and covers topics that are very relatable because they are perhaps simpler, like using the Internet and making friends. There are very important lessons to be learnt throughout, but the book does not have a highly serious feel and feels more like a friend which makes for very pleasant reading. I would say this book would be great for secondary school age and well into young adult. Please feel free to read more of my opinions on this book here.

      Thank you Laura! I needed a way to still review books whilst also being so buys at uni! Oh definitely! I know you love Carrie so I totally recommend this one, it’s full of anecdotes and great advice x

        Yeah it’s a great idea! I always get a bit stressed reviewing books because I want to get across my thoughts on it from like every section of it! Haha But I love reading and then talking about the story afterwards! I’d love to start a book chat on Twitter and have a monthly read-along but don’t know whether anyone would par-take haha x

        Yes! So glad you get what I mean! I always feel like I’m not doing the book justice, especially if I really loved it and want to include all the cool bits that I enjoyed and explain the characters well -it is stressful! lol I would love to start one and then start a big monthly discussion of a book everyone has read.         I would really like that! It would be so interesting to be able to talk to other people who have read the same book. There is nothing more annoying than reading a brilliant book and having no one to talk to about it! That’s partly why I like to write a review x

        Exactly! It’s a way of getting your thoughts out there after you’ve been so sucked into a book! I would really like to start one – I’ve added you to a Twitter chat 🙂 We could do When The Curtain Falls when it’s released and have a ‘Book of the Month’ type thing! – Read and Discuss! 🙂 Just need to think of a cool hashtag haha x
